1. Who We Are

FuneralOS (funeralos.net) is an independent software product. For any privacy-related matter, contact us at ststamato@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Email & password: Used to create and manage your account, stored securely via Supabase Auth.
• Application data: Cases, inventory, staff, and other funeral home records you enter are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). We do not have access to this data.
• Payment data: Transactions are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store card details.
• Technical logs: Error logs may include IP address and browser agent for debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the service.
• To verify active subscription status.
• To send account-related emails (verification, password reset, billing notices).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Data Storage

Authentication data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (AWS). Operational data (cases, inventory, etc.) is stored exclusively in your browser. If you clear your browser data, this information will be lost. We recommend using the app's export/backup feature regularly.

5. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Portability: Export your data at any time using the built-in export feature.

6. Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session (authentication token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Third-Party Services

• Supabase (supabase.com) — Authentication and database infrastructure.
• Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) — Payment processor.
• OpenAI (openai.com) — Powers the AI assistant (Business plan only).

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion request, we will remove your authentication data within 30 days. Browser-local data is under your control and deleted whenever you clear your browser storage.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. For significant changes, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
